National Visa Center Interview in Frankfurt

My husband(German) should have his interview very soon in Frankfurt for his visa to come to the US with me. I believe that we have everything, but I still get nervous!

BUT if I have forgotten something or have made a mistake with my papers, would I be able to just send them to the NVC? I would not have to go back and do everything over, right? When I gave them my I-130 petition, i think it was similar-that they would have just let me send in missing/incorrect forms. It would just help me to be a little less nervous if I knew the protocol.

thank you, alyssa

If anything is missing at the time of the interview but everything else looks fine with your paperwork they will approve him pending he submits the missing paperwork. I didn't do the CR1 or DCF (I don't know which route you're going) but a K1 and my medical results hadn't been reviewd at the time of the interview. They gave me a green piece of paper that said that I will be approved and my Visa sent to me once the medical results come in and look fine.

No worries..usually the interview is the VERY last step and everything else is already in order by then. I know you're nervous and excited but it's really nothing to be overly worried about. Good luck.

I agree with Eveline, if everything is okay but you are missing some minor papers or the medical, you will be approved pending submitting the missing papers.

I thought everyone at the Frankfurt Consulate was very nice, don't worry to much!
