No Interview letter!!!

So I think we are overreacting a bit, but my fiance still has yet to receive his interview letter, which is March 28. He called the embassy today and they gave him the email code etc, so hoping to hear back and see what can be done. When he asked what would happen if he didn't get it in time, the person on the phone said something about rescheduling the interview!! Is this something we should worry about or if he has not received can he get in anyways?

I don't get why they just can't email you a letter in the first place!

Call the Dept. of State to see if you can get a different response from them.

Some people don't get a response for several days. You can get in without an appointment letter. They have a list of appointments outside where they check your passport before sending you through the security hut. If your name is on the list, they'll let you in. Nattrav recently interviewed without her letter. It arrived postage due after she was already on the train to London.

I read you could get in without the letter on here and I wasn't worried about that, HE is the one that got my wheels turning when he started getting really worried about it. I will try calling DOS today and see what they say. My mail from the US snail mail got to him quicker than mail from London!

When my fiance emailed about change of address to receive the appointment letter in the correct place, they attached a pdf copy of his appt letter that he printed off. I don't think his actual appointment letter ever arrived in the mail. You should hear back from the embassy soon. They are usually quick to respond by email when using their code. Good luck!

Hey there-

My fiance never received his interview letter either for London.... but had no problems on the day.

Make sure you he has his receipt of payment; that was really the only thing they were concerned about. (And make sure he is stating he is there for a K1... they tried to shuffle my other half into wrong lines and tell him wrong information)
