Need help!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!!

After the process of I-864 form. I received a letter from NVC saying that we need to send the form DS-230 I and II however, my husband who lives in India has already submitted the documents to NVC on 15th feb 2011. He recieved a text msg from ups or post office that the documents went to new york for custom checking and they hold the documents for couple of days and after few days they send the documents to NVC. My husband recieved another text msg from ups saying that the documents has been received to NVC. Recently i called embassy to make sure if they have recievd the documents and they said they have not recieved anything from us.. and they told me to call back at the end of this month. I wanna know if someone has gone through the same process as i did? If not then normally how long does it take to get a reply from NVC.

Please do answer this i would really appreciate!!!

NVC? Sorry, K-3 filers have NO NVC interaction.
