I-129F Approval from USCIS via test and e-mail

Guess I'd better get ready to do some of the real work now. Half hour ago I got the text from the USCIA of our I-129F petition approval! Good news for us for a change! I got the e-mail too. I tried to call my fiancee but I couldn't get thru besides I don't know if she's wake yet. So I sms her the news. We chat and webcam in about 10 hours anyway. I know we now have to deal with the Medical Exam and possible finding abnormal on her CXR but for now we will be happy for this blessing from God!

Thanks to all who prayed for us and wished us well in this phase of our journey! I hope everyone can get their approval in 5 months or less or sooner after 5 months!

Anyway I want to ask about the timeline. Should I update our timeline now about NOA2, or wait until I get the actual document in hand? I'm happy now but will be happier and feel a lot better when that thing comes in the mail!! Oh and also I thought sure we would get RFE because I forgot to put my SSN on the I-129F where it asks for it. Its on my G-325A form, but not I-129F but we didn't get an RFE! That was another surprise besides this approval coming almost exactly 5 months on the dot from our NOA1! Maybe that Fiancee VISA service I hired to give up pointers and instructions on K-1 and review our docs before shipping them out earned thier keep for at least one petition! Maybe it was money well spent!

Okay thatnks again to everyone and God bless in your wait for NOA2 or the rest of your VISA journey. Fellow October 2010 filers hang in there it has to happen soon if not already!

AOS Journey

11-04-2011 sent AOS to Chicago lockbox

11-07-2011 delivered

11-08-2011 Date on text messages but did not receive until 11-22-2011

11-23-2011 Check cashed.

11-25-2011 Hard copies of NOA1s

12-06-2012 Pui's Brother unexpectly passes away and we make an info pass appointment and receive an emergancy AP so she can return home. Pui leaves for Thailand for 2 weeks.

12-06-2012 Get a text message and email that she received an RFE

12-12-2012 RFE for original birth certificate. I swear we sent it along with a certificate translation of it.

12-20-2012 Pui returns from Thailand.

12-21-2012 We send the RFE back for with original birth certificate along with a new certificate of translation(I had to wait for her to return for her to sign)

12-26-2012 text and email they have received the RFE.

12-29-2012 Appointment for biometrics is 01-23-2012

01-13-2012 AP is approved.

01-23-2012 Biometrics appointment. Later during the evening the text and email saying the EAD is approved.

01-31-2012 EAD/AP combo card arrives.

05-22-2012 Email and text card is in production!

10/11/2010 - I-129F sent via USPS

10/19/2010 - NOA1 hard copy received, dated 10/15/2010

04/08/2011- received NOA2 hard copy, dated 04/05/2011

04/12/2011- NVC received petition

04/18/2011- received letter from NVC

04/18/2011- Manila embassy received petition

04/27/2011- medical exam passed

05/04/2011- appointment letter received dated 06/01/2011

06/01/2011- appointment date, put on administrative review

06/24/2011- visa granted

06/29/2011- received visa

07/18/2011- cfo class

07/21/2011- arrived in America

09/02/2011- happily married!

AOS Timeline

12/01/2011- AOS packet sent

12/06/2011- received email and text from USCIS with MSC number

12/07/2011- check was cashed

12/10/2011- received NOA hard copy dated 12/05/2011

12/12/2011- received NOA hard copy for biometrics appointment for 12/28/2011

12/24/2011- received NOA hard copy stating that our case was transfered to CSC on 12/20/2011

12/28/2011- biometrics appointment completed

06/25/2012- put in service request

09/12/2012- AOS approved

09/17/2012- card production

09/21/2012- greencard in hand

ROC Timeline

08/04/2014 - sent ROC packet

08/13/2014 - received I-797, NOA, dated 08/08/2014

08/28/2014 - received biometric appt. letter for 09/11/2014

02/25/2015- ROC approved

Congrats and you can update your timeline now. The NOA2 will have the same date on it as what your email/USCIS site says.

Thanks for your response. Yes I found that in the VJ K-1 sections so I updated early this morning so it shows up in igor's list already.
