Carrier of Documents to Germany

I was wondering how you shipped very important documents overseas? with what carrier??? I am going to be shipping my documents to my fiance in Germany. Thank you.

We ship about 30 to 40 irreplaceable documents to Europe every week, meaning if one of these envelopes got lost, all hell would break loose. Every courier service, whether UPS, FedEx, or DHL, is about as safe as the next one. If you want safer, hire a personal courier with a suitcase handcuffed to his wrist. Make sure you do a background check on him before hiring and expect to pay several thousand dollars for each trip.

I went to one of those mailing services. I shipped my documents via DHL and they arrived in Nigeria in 3 days. I asked if they had a cheaper service and they told me FEDEX was about $5 cheaper and would take the twice as long so I just stuck with DHL and they were easy to track. I could have shipped my documents via USPS and would have been much cheaper but Nigeria is notorious for packages not 'arriving' at its destination and these are very important documents. I also asked my fiance which carrier was well-known over there and it was DHL. Perhaps you can find out which carrier is more popular in Germany.
