my wife GC expired jan.13,2011 and she sent the documents October 13,2010 and she recieved her 10yrs GC month of february...

Within 90 days. Mine expire in june 25th and I am getting ready my pack to send it soon. Good luck

I agree with the preceding posts and wanted to add---DON'T send in anything before the 90 day period prior to your card expiration starts. If you do this, USCIS will send the packet back. So basically, the earliest you'd want to send the packet is April 6. Good luck!

It should basically be BEFORE 90 days of the expiration date printed on your Green card. DO NOT send it before the 90 day period starts.Neither send it too close to the expiration date. Now this link is a date calculator. To calculate the days through a clculator is important as 30 and 31 days in each month would make the difference.

In this link:

a)put your date of expiration in the Enter Date area

b)then change the pop down menu from Add to Subtract.

c)Then type 90 in the days area.

d) then click on calculate.

Ta da ! you would get the date from which your 90 days window opens ( after which you can apply).
