Yesterday, MSNBC said cruise missiles are supersonic and are rockets and some were launched from land

In fact they are sub-sonic and have jet, not rocket engines, and they were ship or submarine launched

MSNBC is almost unwatchable it is so innacurate

They also pronounced the Scandi name 'KNUT' like 'NEWT' as in Gingrich

Gimme aunty BBC anytime over these ignorantes

Anyway, my money is with the BBC and I am now taking bets on whether villagers were shot

I would guess it was the air crew member using his 9mm as otherwise there would not be 6 wounded and none killed

You dont know the whole story so quit it with your righteous attitude. Our soldiers are good men and dont go around shooting innocent people on purpose. This is a war and mistakes happen in these intense situations.

In all seriousness, I'm only seeing the story on the BBC and in the Telegraph and it looks like it came in only a few hours ago. Will need more time to see if its true.

I'm critical of all media outlets. Especially ones like the BBC. The BBC might appear unbiased on the surface, but it's state run. You never trust anything that is state run at the end of the day. You can argue night and day that the Trust isn't state-run, but when you law is involved in the finance, and when law is involved in appointing the board of said Trust, it does make a difference. At the end of the day, the government can turn the head of the network on a whim.

I'm not saying it's not accurate news for the most part. I know it is and I pay attention to it. My only point is to not be fooled by the curtain in front of you. There's always someone behind it.

Come off it, US soldiers are standing trial right now for killing civilians in Afghanistan and skinning their skulls and taking pictures of them and keeping fingers as tropies in their rooms

Painting ALL the US Military as saints in all situations is unrealistic and turns people off and does not help the majority who no doubt are decent.

It's hard to shoot 6 people with a pistol and it not be 'on purpose'. It won't be malicious, just a by-product of the fear of foreigners
