  • 2 years later...

My fiance' tried to kill himself by overdosing on prescription medication recently. A week later, after this event our Visa finally got approved and he's supposed to do the medical and interview in Aug. or Sept. Only he's in the Psychiatric ward for 21 days as it's the law in his country for anyone who tries to kill themselves. He had a depression since he was denied being able to come into the country last summer and it grew and grew and grew and he didn't get any medical treatment for it. So then it was too late. Now he's been put on anti-depressants. He was on NOTHING beforehand. If the anti-depressants get him out of the depression, do was stand a chance or is everything ruined?
