He was talking about the Gary that Steven and Fish seem to think I am. With all the talk I did some research. It seems that GaryC was a self proclamed "hard core conservative" who thought socialized medicine was the next thing to communism. He was a hawk and a listener of Rush Limbaugh. He said he was so conservitive he made Reagan look like a liberal.

I hate to tell you all this but I was and still am against all wars where we were not attacked first. I think insurance companies stink and even voted for Obama and Dem reps so I could get single payer. I do not listen to that blow hard Limbaugh. The only things it seems we have in common are a strong distrust of man made GW. I guess that is all it takes to get the "Gary" label.

One of the reasons I strongly support the right to bear arms is so that I can keep at hand the means to blow my brains out if my life ever becomes so meaningless.

I am not a fan of guns being everywhere in our society but I think it makes perfect sense for Gary. Being 'pro-choice' means being able to not just decide what you WANT to do but actually have the means to efficiently DO it!

Sometimes I wonder how it is that the people that frequent this board have so much free time. Maybe that could be a whole thread by itself. Doubt it would get much attention though. FWIW, I have a job with a lot of 'down-time' and this has been an interesting diversion! Don't know about fish but I do have a life otherwise and will soon have even less free time when Olga gets here! Her appt is 15 May!! I may not be able after that to keep up with what has been fun and enlightening at times.

As for me my time here it is the result of a promotion. I am now in management and am flying a desk. As long as I get my work done, and I do, they don't care what else I do on the computer. The rest of my life is so busy I don't even think about VJ other than here. My wife and kids keep me very busy and what they don't take up the endless social obligations take the rest. For me the ability to blow off some steam here of VJ is a wellcome diversion. I am not mad, I am just using this as a stress reliever. Think of it as a virtual punching bag. Fish gives me plenty of excuses to open the pop off valve. For that I thank him.
