Health carriers for new Immigrants

Hi folks , i am a USC and UK passport holder and i am just getting ready to sponser my mum and dad in from the UK ( they are 71 and 65 ) they will be living in the Houston area with me BUT i am having trouble trying to find a good medical company to insure them with and at a good cost - can anybody help ?? ..

You can do a GOOGLE search but expect to pay a pretty penny for any coverage.

that's the reason why even wealthy Americans refrain from getting their retirement-age parents to the US. Since they did not pay into the system, they are not eligible for Medicare. Expect to pay about $25,000 for dad and another $20,000 for your mom per year. Few can afford that, yet the high rates are understandable. If one of your parents has a heart attack, that's a $100K+ gig, every time.

The Ukay has one of the best health systems on the planet, the US has one of the worst.
