When I file for the AOS, my wife fill up the form. I-864, Affidavit of Support and I got the 2 year GC.

Now I have over 40 credits of work (I got the statement from the social security administration)

I just wanna know if she still have any responsability for me with the goverment?

And what make the credits qualifyng credits?

Thanks

did you make all the 40 credits after you became a LPR? the credits are since you became a LPR.

INA 213A doesn't say anything about that. It just says if the alien can be credited with 40 quarters of work credits then the period of enforceability ends. In fact, an alien can adjust status without an affidavit of support if they've already accumulated (or can be credited with) 40 quarters of work credits through SSA. They'd file an I-864W to have the affidavit of support requirement waived.
