Russia could have vetoed the Security Council resolution for the No-Fly Zone. They did not. This is political posturing at home, nothing more.

I doubt very many Russians would care one way or the other how their country voted on this matter... so the "political posturing" suggestion is baseless, No,

The truth is, Russia has Oil, Russia sells Oil (which leaves it with little motivation) and Russia has little history of military excursions outside of it's hood.

We on the other hand, "WE" Need stable oil prices and we also have this need to play both world cop and now Doctor of democracy.

Obama is like the tanned version of George Bush. He's a war monger.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

So do something about not needing so much oil. As for the world cop/ Democracy MD, I certainly hope this logic is applied to all cases of foreign intervention in the future- because I doubt this consistency was applied in most past cases.
