After approving the VISA, can I track the DHL shipment?

Here are a couple of questions

1) Does the passport stay at the embassy or is it mailed back to the US and then shipped to the country?

2) Does the embassy email a tracking number for the DHL package?

3) If no to #2, is there any way I can track it?

1.It will only stay at US Embassy as it is the issuing agency.

2. yes, you will know when you paid the the courrier at the embassy however some are cash upon delivery, but you still can try calling FEDEX or may track it online or by text message.

3. using airway bill from the reciept when you paid it at the US Embassy or by case number ,if it wont wok you can always call fedex

awesome! good to know.. the lady doesn't really understand and failed to mention that she paid for DHL that day ....

that link you sent .... kept on telling me my case # was invalid .. oh well, at least I can check with DHL. They seem to scan it every morning as "will deliver as agreed" .. hopefully we get it soon!
