FYI for people in Ireland needing a medical

Just to let you know, the only Dr. available to do the medical exam in Ireland currently, is the Dr. in DUBLIN

The Dr. in Cork is not practicing right now.

Wow, things must have changed a lot! When I did my medical, there was one in Cork, one in Galway, and three in Dublin! I did my medical with a guy in Sandyford, but had to go to the Blackrock Clinic for the x-ray.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Wow, why has it taken from Feb 2010 until Apr 2011 for your interview in Ireland? Is that not extremely long? Its just that we (my wife and I) are making the I-130 application now to Dublin and I have to go out to the USA soon and didnt imagine it would take so long for her (Irish citizen) to get her visa.

Also, how long in advance should we book the doctors appointment? I am assuming we dont need to wait for the US embassy to tell us to book it and that we can just book the appointment at least ourselves???
