Seriously, no post office actually gives you an appointment - you just show up with the paperwork, forms, money and the baby.

"Some offices may require an appointment to accept your passport application or take your photo, so please call first."

I've visited at least two Post Offices where I remember seeing signs to this effect.

In addition, you can marry your PR boyfriend and then adjust your status so you won't have to leave the country. Doing so will not make you a PR but only as his dependent and you will not be allowed to work.

Not true A PR has to wait for an available visa number is available for their spouse and that takes years. Overstay would not be forgiven .

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
