Procedure to update the address?

My sister has applied I-130 for my brother, in acknowledgement its printed "unknown" in place of birth. Is it normal? if not then can someone guide me what is the procedure if we want to update this address field? Thanks in advance.

Unknown? Where did u see this update? The place of birth should be on the birth record... Something that should be known.

It is printed on the receipt which my sister received at home after apply application. At the time of application we have submitted the right birth certificate and filled the forms properly but don't know why its shown "unknown" on receipt? How can I update this field easily?

You can call them at the number listed on the notice and tell them that the information on the notice is "unknown" and the information was filled out on the form and supporting docs were submitted. You can also go to an info pass.
