You don't need your SIN number for anything related to the k1 process so I assume no.

Ok good, I was just wondering if at any point the CSC will run my sin number and the name doesnt match my passport or bc

No. The only Canadian identification USCIS will be interested in is your birth certificate and your passport. Your Social Insurance Number card relates to the Canadian government's files on you for Canadian based benefits such as Employment Insurance, Canada Pension Plan and Income Tax Returns. The US Government has no access to these documents nor interest in them ( - until you start retirement benefits, but that is a whole kettle of fish far down the road, I suspect.)

You will get another government identification number for the US - Social Security Number - and that is the one that you will use in the US. Keep your Canadian one, though - it is yours for life and you will probably still need it some time in the future.
