So where were the Jews for 2,000 years ?

Do you want a run down on Israel for the past three thousand years ?

Where would you like to start ? Can we move the timeline up to Roman times or would you like to start in the days of the Pharaoh's?

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Jews that returned before and after 1948 from Europe were not Jews that lived on this land 2,000 years ago that's what i am saying

If it works this way then tell me that a Jew coming from Europe owns Egypt just because there was Jews living here 4,000 years ago

No it's more like this. Israel has been the Jewish homeland for thousands of years. Muslim's for some crazy reason not only figured they could "barrow" from the Jewish religion, they even stole their temples and renamed them. Same with grave sites, etc.. It's like Little Red Riding Hood sleeping in the bears bed. She may have slept in their beds, ate their food, yet it didn't make it her home.

Now back to the Sinai Peninsula. Do you think Egypt will "give" it to Palestinians like Israel "gave" it to Egypt ?

You're wrong, Jews are not a population in today's world, they are very few in numbers, if there was any glorious thing about being a Jew. the middle east today would've been full of Jews, cause there was Jews in KSA, Egypt and the entire middle east, no one can deny that but can't come after 4,000 years and claim a land yours just because there was people on it that had a religion similar to yours

About the Sinai, it's an Egyptian land, Israel occupied it and then after a war and a peace treaty they gave it back to us, Israel owns nothing Sir, it's all occupation.

shhh ...that's supposed to be a secret. Funny how the Golden Dome is built upon a Jewish Temple. In fact there weren't any Muslim's in that area until thousands of years after the Jews had established themselves in Israel.

What's even funnier is that there were people already living there thousands of years before David conquered the city for the Israelites. Har de har har. Another funny is that it wasn't until the Arab conquest of the city that any Jews were even allowed inside the city walls, after hundreds of years of being forcefully kept out by Europeans. Does that get loads of chuckles out of you too?

Your statement was "A million years won't make it right."

It seems a couple of thousand years is enough to re-write history and condemn a people as homeland-less.

Go read up on your history and learn what happened. Very little of it is pretty.

Golly gee, this timeline of the history of Jerusalem sure doesn't bear out yr revision. The Israel-Judah period is but a tiny blip.

Explain why haplo groups of Jews in Spain can be linked to haplo groups in Israel ? You never heard of the exodus of the Jews from Israel ? During Roman times Jews left Israel for Europe, and North Africa by the thousands. It didn't get any better for them with the Crusades and after that it was the Turks. After Hitler got a hold of them they came home.

Now if I was a Israeli and I was invaded by a foreign country ...like say Egypt not once, but twice and I took some of their land chances are I wouldn't be such a nice guy and give it back. In fact I probably would have pushed for bombing Cairo back into the Stone Age for attacking me. But Israel was nice enough to hand it back to Egypt...even after Egypt attacked them not once, but twice.

But look at Israel now. It's the apple of the eye of the Middle East. Living standards in Israel...a country void of oil, are comparable to the West. So there must be something about those Jews to reach such a high standard of living in a desert eh ?

And btw the religion is not similar, it is Judaism. Again you can't barrow someone else religion, mow their temples down and build over them and then make a pretend history like it never happened. It doesn't work that way. :)

Maybe the Arabs should spend less time worrying about the Jews and spend more time on improving their standard of living. I mean how many Arabs have immigrated to the West over the past five decades ...legal and illegal ?

Israel is the epitome of a welfare state-name one Arab country, or any country for that matter, that has received what amounts to $17000 of US taxpayer money per person living there. You, me, and everyone paying taxes in the united states has a huge hand in all that "progress" you keep blathering on about. That money sent there hasn't done shite for me, not a damn thing. ####### has it done for you or any other American?

Actually it had more to do with the Romans, and after that the Christians, and then the Turks. None of the three mentioned played nice with the Jews in Israel.

See it's not the Arabs fault but you always want to blame them for discrimination against Jews

Now if I was a Israeli and I was invaded by a foreign country ...like say Egypt not once, but twice and I took some of their land chances are I wouldn't be such a nice guy and give it back. I understand what you're saying but the point is that Egypt didn't go to war with Israel to take their land, that was not the intention, the war started in the first place cause of the establishment of the Israeli state on Palestinian land, there was a country already there that is called palestine, and there was no problem if Jews lived there peacefully along with Muslims and Christians, the fight was because they came back from Europe weather they belonged to this land or not and wanted to claim it theirs, as if the people that are already living there do not exist, Egypt had Jews that were living peacefully in the community before the 1948 war, no body asked them to leave or kicked them out because they were a part of the nation.

But look at Israel now. It's the apple of the eye of the Middle East. Living standards in Israel...a country void of oil, are comparable to the West. So there must be something about those Jews to reach such a high standard of living in a desert eh ?

Israel is very developed now i know but you know why mainly, it is because they are a few millions in there and they work hard and i think now Arab countries are trying to get rid of the dictatorships and develop themselves

And btw the religion is not similar, it is Judaism. Again you can't barrow someone else religion, mow their temples down and build over them and then make a pretend history like it never happened. It doesn't work that way. :)

It's because they're looking for a better life, like everyone else on VJ that is immigrating to the US
