On 17MAR, my wife and myself headed down to the HCMC, VN consulate office at 8am. At about noon, she walked out with a pink (interview success) paper.

She was a little bit nervous. So the night before, we celebrated our journey along with my family at the Hard Rock Cafe-HCMC.

The supporting evidence was there: itemized phone bills, hotel receipts with both our names, credit card scan of our shared credit card account, family registration book when i visited her, my airline tickets to VN, my wife's airline tickets to visit me in SE Asia with my detail proof of payment, transcripts of transferred money/commodities, photos of me and her, photos with our friends and colleagues, photos of her and my family (when they visited my wife), my company newsletter with our marriage in the Employee Announcements Section.

She did the interview in full English (which is a big plus since she will have to speak good English when she comes over...thanks ROSETTA STONE!)

I did this entire process while living overseas and mailing to the U.S...without email notifications, i don't know what i would do.

Next step is to get her visa, green card/ssn, and get rid of the Conditional on her visa after 2-years in the U.S.!
