Interview Date !!!!!!!!

Things are finally moving quickly. My husband picked up his packets in Lagos on August 29th and interview date is set for Sept. 27th ! We are both so very excited. I do have one questio tho...with the holiday I am not able to get out app for visa until Sept 5th...I am a little nervous that it will not be back to in time for my flight to Lagos on Sept 24th....does anyone know if they offer expedited services? I have looked at websites for embassy in Washington DC ..but so not see any info regarding expedited services. Can anyone offer advice???

congratulations on your husband's interview date.... does anyone know why there's a hold up with the I-130 though? our case was completed with nvc since may and we are yet to be scheduled for a date. nvc says they are waiting on lagos. is anyone waiting for the I-130? please advice
