Clearly you and Zero Sum did not read past that line. But I notice it is ony liberals who object to effective means of eliminating the exploitation of illegals for cash.

In reality neither political party wants to eliminate illegal aliens. They know how to do it. They don't want to.

Agreed. The Democrats and Republicans both are guilty of promoting illegal immigration in this country. That's why I say this country needs a third party. One not so far right, nor so far left, but in the middle and actually gives two sh*ts about this country. Right now were getting screwed by both party's and it makes me sick.

You know, when you read the actual article she wrote on her website, as opposed to the sensationalistic blog headlines reporting about what she said...

She may very well be wrong, but she doesn't sound insane.

I've found the same thing in liberal blogs and forum content about Glen Beck. They tend to have the same general tenor: they present his comments as SO obviously insane and delusional that they are prima facie symptoms of mental illness or mental retardation. Yet when you read his books, well... they're coherent. They contain sentences about which reasonable people can disagree, but they aren't obvious artifacts of mental illness, the way they're generally presented by their most vocal critics.

To me, it damages the credibility of the American political left [which is still somewhat right-of-center by mainstream Canadian standards ] when they present, as artifacts of madness, writings which, while clearly debatable, are very clearly not insane.

We can end illegal immigration tomorrow and never have to arrest, deport, prosecute, or PUNISH anyone. (or spend any money to do it) If Grandma wants to hire someone to cut her grass, give her a $10,000 tax credit if she hires a LEGAL worker to do it. You think there would be even ONE job for an illegal alien in this country? If a business would be able to operate TAX FREE by hiring legal workers you think they would hire illegals? Why? So they can have the benefit of untrained workers that do not speak English? Or did someone think that illegal aliens really ARE the best roofers in the world? Do you think the illegals cost the government LESS than $10,000 each now?

When the benefit of hiring illegals does not outweigh the risk or loss from hiring legal workers there will be nothing left for them here. Bye.

And we can all feel better about ourselves that millions of people no longer have to hide in the shadows and be subject to abuse and underpayment for their work.

Evolutionary mutagenesis : mutations that are aquired by enough individuals in a species over time to change a game, for good or for bad. Lots of time is required for this.

Then there are the mutations that can happen suddenly... Killing one off through rad poisoning or merely producing anger/bipolar disorders that manifest sometimes in online rants that make the reader wonder about the mind of the writer.

People quote Coulter as if she is some sort of respected commentator who provides some sort of public service.

She's a media ####### whose sole purpose is to sell books and keep her name in the news. As far as making informed, substantive comments goes - she's just a stupid a$$.
