How do I request expediting?

I am reading about expediting processes. Where can we find information on how to request an expedite? What does that even mean?

I just sent off my I-130 and it was received yesterday. do I request expediting now or wait? I read you have to request it at every stage..?

For a successful expedite, it's best to actually include a letter with initial submittal, mark the outside of envelope in red letters 'expedite' so the mail room will throw it to the proper krewe.

Calling is useful, when you have the first I-797-C (NOA-1) in hand. Ask for ISO, ask them for THEIR procedures, follow them to the letter.
