Any ideas? Expedite was approved now what??

I requested an expedite for my husband on March 4th and received an email approving the expedite on March 8th...saying we should get our Notice of Action within 21 days... (which could mean any kind of document really if they need RFE etc..)

However, I called today and talked to someone who basicaly knew nothing telling me i had to wait until 60 days for service request that I was not out of the processing timeline so I explained we had email approval of expedite and they said they were reviewing our case eetc....she looked it up and said oh yeah i do see this...so now you have to wait up to 60 days to hear... um...am I missing something??? This was the first time I spoke to a tier 1 in a long time because she can now see my case online.(usally went the tier 2 route)..that was an update on March 16th...couldnt see it before then...

do i look for the noa2 within the next week and half???

anyway...anybody have any ideas or advice? I dont want to keep calling back but I expedited for safety reasons and yet we aren't getting anywhere...just want to be on top of it after all we are our loved ones biggest advocates....

what is the reason for your expedited? you just wait, they always tell wait for 60 days, still case to case basis.

Like my situation my hubby request to expedited my papers because i am pregnant, it took 4 months only to process all my

papers.

Timeline for my Mother

April 19, 2013 - submit the form I-130

April 22, 2013 - Receive the NOA1

July 29, 2013 - Approved NOA2 ( 82 working days)

July 30, 2013 - USCIS shipped my documents to NVC

Aug 5, 2013 - Arrived at NVC Building

Aug 13, 2013 - Got the NVC case # via PHONE

Aug 14, 2013 - Got the Invoice # via PHONE

Aug 15, 2013 - Send my DS-3032 via Email

Aug 16, 2013 - AOS Pay

Aug 17, 2013 - Got an email to print the COVER SHEET

Aug 21, 2013 - send the AOS overnight at NVC

Aug 28, 2013 - Accept the DS-3032

Aug 30, 2013 - IV BILL pay and Documents Sent to NVC receive the checklist AOS.

September 19, 2013 Sent back the checklist

September 20, 2013 Sept 26, arrived @ NVC

Sept 30,2013 - already encode to their system

We expedited humanitarian and were approved right away for expedite...they pulled our file within two days to review...

They said it would be 21 days but its so frustrating when you call to get info and they literally do not even know whats going on with your case... she didnt even realize we had expedite and once she saw it she figured it was still 60 days....the Tier 2 i spoke with the other day said to call back today...and see if we have noa2 yet...but I just hung up with her...too much troubl eto keep explaining...ill prob call back later when im not so frustrated ...

I am seeing quite few expedite requests from pakistan , do you think we should also consider it ? although i am sure we will hear something soon

Actually we did file expedite request on March 3rd adn this was what ws emailed to us:

The status of this service request is:

Your request to expedite on your I-130 petition has been approved. Your file is

being requested for review. You should receive a notice of action* within 21

days.

I called on addys bday to see what the status was since I HAVE NEVER SEEN OUR CASE ONLINE...and he (tier 2 agent) said happy bday to addy and rite now its pulled for review but call back on friday maybe then...so i call back and now i only got to tier 1 instead of tier 2 and she just plain didnt know anything didnt see we were expedited etc...just want to know what im supposed to do...how long it will take to go thru our file since its being reviewed...how long before we see approval to move forward...im getting really concerrned for addy and for my friends in karachi now... i see ppl getting the noa2 approvals rite after expedite or a week later and i just wonder what gonna happen...thats all..

And i really dont think it should have to take another 60 days since the expedite was approved and the document i received says within 21 days... :(

INSHALLAH.... Im happy for all those getting their noa2 and moving forward but Addys been in dangerous situations the last few weeks as u know...and i know our other friends from karachi kno...while ppl in karachi are used to certain situations there are some wayy more dangerous... i dont wanna risk losing him just when i found him :(

INSHALLAH we all hear somthing soon!!!!

i never even got an email saying my expedite was approved, i got a letter stating that they had accepted the request and wanted additional information which I faxed to them and 3 days ago when i checked the status of my i-130 online, it said the i-130 had been approved.

Yes, Karachi is getting so bad! Im just a nervous wreck worrying about Hassan all the time.

yeahh its strange how they do things diff....they approved upon my request right away didnt take any time for the approval for expedite but now i hve no knowledge of whats going on..urghhh...just know that within 21 days they will send us a notice...so i guess im counting down those days its been 11 so far so i guess ill know in a week or so
