I question this advice.

I had much to say about the last post but decided to let things lay as "YODRACK" was the post and I didn't want to feel the wrath of being wrong in my opinion???

Yodrak has been here a lot longer than most of us...most of the time those that have been around a while happen to have the best advice. It's worth listening to, whether you like it or not.

It still remains the best advice to wait for the RFE. And if one reads the instructions on the form, as well as the guides on this website, some things are pretty clear.

Thank God your attitude is not the same as mine as I would use my brains and not the words of posts from people that think they know the world about the process!!!! Yes there is no sence, but this Forum is about discussion and not who had been a member long enough to grant God like advice to others!!! Please chill and listen to others as previous filers are not our Gods but merely examples of what might be!!!

I'm not granting godlike advice. I am very relaxed thank you very much. I took the time to read and reread the guides and the instructions on each form I filled out. When I didn't understand something I asked. I can assure you that the ones I listened to are the ones that have been around a lot longer than you.

Have a nice day!

To be around much longer does not gaurantee a level of smarts!!! This is a Forum for many to share what they have learned and have sent off to USCIS. IF you want to believe that wisdom in USCIS comes from your NOA1 Date, and their respective NOA2 date, Then you are mislead. please explain why June CSC's are approved before March? Please explain why VSC is approving I-129F in 20 something days????

Let me say this; I pray that all VJ members have a fast approval. I thank all thos VJ members before me for their info.

God forbid that someone before me starts thinking that I am the Man of answers just like many who state that I know why thr process is F*&*&$ UP!!!!

I think I'll just rest on the side

A few VJers have tried to send them documents they've forgotten to send out with their petitions or amended forms (with IMBRA questions, trying to avoid the IMBRA RFE) with no luck. Whilst you could try, it's more likely that they won't match the letter with your file there.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

If I thought I had forgot a reciept? I myself would do what I could to send it with a clearly documented page of why it was sent. . If you tell me to just Wait? Wait for 4 an RFE????

LuvLife, what people offer on this board are advices based on their own or others' experiences and on one's read about a certain subject. Everyone's free to read them all, make their own judgement and act according to what they believe is appropriate. If one's forgotten to send a document/form that was requested, one *could* still try to send them anyway before the RFE and there's certainly no rule from USCIS that denies you the right of trying that. One might get lucky and avoid getting the RFE. However, experience shows that those who've tried to send anything needed before getting an RFE had no luck and have gotten either canned responses or RFEs anyway.

Well said Mew. Which was what I was alluding to in my post. When you've dealt with the USCIS long enough you learn not to do things the way you want to...you follow their rules and march to their beat.

It's probably worth trying to send in the letters of intent before the RFE comes. It may or may not work, but it will only cost you .39 cents and may save you a month of aggravation. It can't hurt.

As far as the folks who tried to avoid the IMBRA RFE but were unsuccesful - probably not a good comparison. The service centers were totatly screwed up then, and they probably just took all the petitions that fit a certain date profile and sent the RFE's regardless of who may have tried to avoid it.

Good luck either way! :)

Peace!

I agree with this. I don't think it does any harm if the OP wants to be pro-active. Originally I didn't think the OP had the WAC number so I was advising him not to waste the time. But once it was pointed out that he has the WAC number, then I see no harm and it might actually work. The most he's lost is .39 cents and a little bit of time. If he gets a RFE asking for the letters of intent, he'll be well prepared to easily and quickly mail them along with the RFE back to the service center.
