Hello VJ members,

So here is the story: I applied for AOS last September 22nd(that's my receipt date ).a couple of weeks after did my biometrics.October 15th received an RFE asking for my medicals(agaiinnn:( so so of course I resent them and my case was resumed November 1st.mid December I got my EAD yuppiiie but absolutely no news about my I-485(their last email said "u should get a written decision or update within 60 days"-well I didn't....).so yesterday I gave a call to USCIS costumer center and they said that my case is still in NBC and I can't put a service request since it's within normal processing time(I thought "normal" is 4-5 month).she said NBC is currently working on cases around September 18 and well I couldn't say anything since there is no timeline of I-485 in NBC on uscis.gov...I filed under the Cuban Adjustment Act and if I know well NBC can decide on my case without any transfers.is that true?what should I do?just wait, make in infopass, involve congresswoman?

Waiting for your opinions,Thanks everyone.....

Sometimes you do not know wether to believe these people. I see you're from nyc as myself. I applied on September 10 and received and NOA on the 17th. If they told you they are working with applications around September 18 then why have i not heard anything yet? I am still waiting for an interview letter and supposely i was suppose to get one this month but this month is almost over and it doesn't seem as this will be happening. The only difference is you file under the Cuban Adjustment Act but the timing should not be any different. Maybe we should wait until the end of this month and if we do not hear anything we should contact our congress representative.
