Can you please make a list with all the senators and congressmen u tweeted ? I would like to tweet them too ALL !!!

And something else : I think we should add something at #K1Vermonters to show that K1 Californians are with us ... we are together, but needs to be short ( #K1VermontersAndCA ?)

Because of the way Twitter works, we can't change the name of the list.. if we do so it will hurt the momentum of the movement.

I strongly discourage that.

CSC filers are our brothers and sisters in the movement irrespective of the moniker "K1Vermonters".

in all honesty i don't think any of us "foreigners" should be doing anything to come against USCIS. We are trying to get in to a country and Its not going to do us any good by posting/tweeting negative things about the process or about how retardedly slow they are. Yes, we are all under stress but unless its the American petitioner directly that is making a "voice" and tweeting, i don't think its healthy for us foreigners to be coming against the government and there process like this.

If the government wants to find stuff out about the people who are trying to get in to America they will most definitely do whatever background work they can. That means your Tweets, your facebook, and your Visa Journey posts may not be helping you but hurting you. Yes, i do agree that if we've hit the 5 month mark then we should call and try to get it going but we also need to remember that we need to be nice to USCIS because they are the ones who can deny us from being with our loved ones. So don't make them mad if you are not the petitioner!

As I said before : we want to politely ask USCIS to care about us ! I saw some ugly tweets ... those I don't think will help. Still tweeting is not a bad thing , we don't hurt anybody. We ask an institution (USCIS) to Approve, Deny or send us an RFE and by us i meant the immigrant AND the USC petitioner who is hurting too because of the delays.

I agree FlorinaRO, we are not doing anything wrong by trying to bring light to the situation and I don't think they would fault us for that.

Everyone who has reached 5 months should also be calling and contacting whoever possible - the USCIS website still says the estimated time is 5 months, even if that is not their reality, so they are opening themselves up for calls from all 5 monthers as well as those in the 6th month.

And the K1Vermonters Gold Star of the day goes to Twitter-Tweeter: "ChyWins"

Who posted: Support the speedy approval of I-129F petitions! It unites couples and promotes legal immigration

I love that!

I would love to say: "Everyone have a good weekend..." , but that's not our reality.

I'm sure we will all be busy.. but we need to take Tweet breaks.. WE CANNOT REST UNTIL WE GET WHAT WE WANT!

K1Vermonters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know how much of a long shot it is to have a Trending Topic, but if we continue using #k1vermonters this could actually be something that would get attention big time!!

If you make your account private people wont be able to see your hashtags and that won't count into the #k1vermonts total amount.

274 re tweets and some tweets marked in my alter tweeter account!!!!

Happy tweeting everyone, Obama is heading to Brazil and I hope he sees some of this on AirForce One on his way down! I am fairly certain he will!

09/23/10 - I-129F Received in Dallas, TX

09/30/10 - NOA-1 Hard Copy dated Sep. 27, 2010

10/03/10 - TOUCH!

After numerous calls to USCIS, my two Texas Senators and a Congressman, the latter got an "expedite" put through (if you can call a month and a week after ONPT an expedite). Just never let up! Even though mine took way too long, there were people who were a month before me and waited longer because they just sat back and watched. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease!"

03/31/11 - NOA-2!

04/05/11 - Received NOA-2 hard copy.

04/07/11 - NVC Received

04/12/11 - Case left NVC via DHL
