The Stones at Hampton, 1981. We had a big party and watched it on pay per view and a Boston radio station simulcast it in stereo. We cranked it up and had a hell of a time. I think. I don't remember much of the night 30 years later. I also didn't remember much of it the next morning. :devil: Somewhere I still have the cassette from that concert as I recorded it from the radios. Good quality too, I had a real component cassette deck hooked up to my receiver. High tech back in '81.

I still remember the anticipation of watching that. We were unable to get tickets to the Hartford show and I was sooooooooooooooooo bummed out. Pay per view was the best I could do back then. Thankfully I made up for it in later years as I saw them several times, but it was a long wait from 81' until the Steel Wheels Tour in '89. I saw them at Shaefer/Sullivan stadium. It was the last tour with Bill Wyman on bass. I thought it was so touching at the end as the entire cast of supporting musicians and singers etc took their bows after the encore and then it was just the 5 of them arm in arm taking the final bow.
