Saw that this band was going to be playing at a little Indian casino in South Oklahoma soon.blink.gif

Casinos are easy money for many of these bands. This isn't 1969 so there won't be any sold out arenas but they will share the bill with Steppenwolf at the Choctaw casino in Durant, OK. Burton Cummings and Randy Bachmann haven't had anything to do with The Guess Who since 2000, what's left without them? No idea. :wacko: :wacko: :wacko:

That was the casino and I couldn't remember who the other band was and you are right it was Steppenwolf. Yes the casino action is very big for these bands. They can play a different one about every night and has turned very lucrative. That casino is maybe the closest to Dallas of any and it has grown in the last ten years. Used to get a good game of Blackjack there.

There is a pretty well known guitarist, drummer and sax player in this band. Local, Boston area band. Who can name them without cheating? :devil:

Can't remember the name but they're from Boston, aren't they?

There is also a version by The Wiggles, but I'm not such a heartless bar steward to put that one up here. :whistle:

Holy Exocet! The Wiggles have a version of this song? Have they heard about it in the Malvines? :rofl:

The drummer and lead guitarist are from the band Boston. Sib Hashian on drums, Barry Goudreau on guitar. The sax player is Michael "Tunes" Antunes from John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, most famous for the original score for the movie Eddie and the Crusiers. Tunes was the only band member to play in the movie, he played the character Wendall. These are a cool bunch of guys who I have met on a few different occasions.
