No, just a very small step. It sounds like you are cool with this war. Amazing how things change isn't it?

I'm not cool with any war. The rebels, however, have been recognized by France and have a lot of support among NATO countries. If they have a legitimate gripe, which I believe they do, we should support them. Maybe you'd like us to continue propping up despots like Gadhafi, which by the way was done for strategic reasons, but it's time for him to go. I am not, however, in favor of an all out engagement. There's a good chance that air support from France and Britain will be all the rebels need to finally topple Gadhafi's regime.

So by that logic you were OK with the war in Iraq? Remember the Kurds?

It seems your support depends on who is in the white house.

Killing off a dictator isn't that hard. It's the nation building that gets folks in trouble, and neither the French, nor the Brits have ever been very good at it. This could go from bad to worse, but, as long as France gets their share of the oil, then mission accomplished, I suppose.

I find it odd that Steven is OK with this. I guess he means it is OK to kill from the air in a one sided fight rather than risk our soldiers on the ground. Kind of a cowardly attitude when you think about it. But then again, his support depends on who is in the white house.

It's pretty obvious he's pro big oil corporations, and pro war. Next thing you know he's going to be towing the tea party line :(

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Just great. Another country we are going to break and have to pay for. I am betting they are printing at least a Trillion bucks as we speak in anticipation. whistling.gif

Not to mention where going to end up with a giant influx of Libyan refugee's who will surely get a free ride with immigration. Yep I can see the writing on the wall.

You know it's bad when Steven's turned into a pro big oil / war monger.
