The rebels need help and it looks like France and Britain are willing to provide most of the muscle. Hopefully, it will be minimal, contained and over once Gadhafi is gone.

LOL... it's for oil and nothing else. I can think of a ####### load of repressive regimes right off the top of my head that we could focus on seeing how we want to stick our nose in everyone elses business...and closer to home no less. Also the odds of a bunch of Islam wing nuts taking Gadhafi's place are pretty good imo. It's going to be burka city/Sharia Law all over again.

It sounds like your OK for this war for oil. Why is that? You sounded like Bush should have been impeached and jailed for his war. Why is this one different?

And god only knows this country's government has never done anything "stupid" before....oh like Iraq and Afghanistan ...just to name a few. Anyone who thinks we are in those two country's for any other motive other than oil and gas should get a clue before ever posting on this forum again. The gas line from the Caspian to India via Pakistan is already being built, not to mention gas from northern Iraq is being pumped as we speak via Turkey to Europe "Nabucco Line".

It's like this country had a bad case of retardation and forgot all about Vietnam. Everything that went into protesting that war in order to get it stopped...along with the draft...and it's all been forgotten and now we are run by fat greedy oil company's who could give a rats fkng ####### about democracy, freedom...and human life...especially our troops.

Wave the ol Glory and watch how many chumps jump on the bandwagon....peeps that couldn't find Lybya on a map if it was tatooed on their #######.
