Phrases that fill you with dread...

"I think you should sit down......"

sometimes it's not even something someone says that fills me with dread...it's the silence. Kind of like when you are a kid and you know your parents are going to freak out on you for accidentally backing your dad's new truck into another car...Happy Fathers Day Dad..."giggle" then RUN!!!! Oh yeah..that wasn't a good time. Not only did I NOT get the yelling and the screaming I expected...but I got the silent treatment for a good month which felt like a year. NOT GOOD!!! :crying:

Love is not an EMOTION or FEELING....

That if made from the heart...will outlast ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING!!!!

Or, if your male fiance is French....

"Cheri, I'm amazed at the things you have in America! A shower in a bottle???"

*Fiance holds up a bottle that says "Massengill" and smells susiciously of vinegar.*

(Hopes people know enough french to get that....)

:lol::lol: Ca c'est comic, tabernak!

Most sports commentary can do that. Something like...

"This match should be a walk in the park for Leeds"

usually followed by a 5-1 drubbing.

"Rock journalism is people that can't write interviewing people that can't talk, for people that can't read." Frank Zappa

:lol::lol::lol::lol: They are a perfect example because they are there to provide commentary so they feel pressured to say something, often times putting their foot in their mouth.
