Hello everyone,

My wife and I just received our interview date for October. The list ask for things that we have already sent and in some cases was hard to get for example:

Medical exam form-I-693

Form-I864

Taxes

etc...

Do we need to get all this again?

W & M

April 7th - Met for the first time online

June 23rd - Met in person in Mexico for 11 days

July 21st - Returned to Mexico for 4 days

August 3rd - I-129F Sent to

August 5th - Receives I-129F

August 12th - NOA1 Notice Date from CSC

August 17th - NOA1 Received from CSC

August 19th - Check Cashed by CSC

October 13th - NOA2 Approved! (email)

October 17th - NOA2 Approved! (snail mail)

October 24th - Received and Approved! (snail mail)

October 31st - US Consulate CDJ Received

January 05th - Received Packet 3

January 11th - Packet 3 completed

January 19th - Interview Approved Hey!!!

February 07th - Arrived in the USA!!!

February 08th - Married!!!

March 31st - AOS, AP, EAD sent!

April 3rd - AOS, AP, EAD received!

April 6th - NOA 1 received!

April 27th - Biometrics Appointment!

May 3rd - AOS, EAD Touched

June 19th - AP Approved!

June 21st - EAD Approved!

October 24th - AOS Interview!

August 25th - I-751 sent!

August 28th - Delivered!

Yes a lot of things have changed since the visa interview.

Use the new I-864EZ if you dont use a co-sponsor, it requires less documentation see the included instructions.

So yes you will have to gather an provide them with the up to date info.

I'm also preparing for the interview here, and reading the appointment letter, it says to bring all kinds of documents, "unless already submitted".

Preparing for the AOS isn't an exact science, and different interviewers ask for different things from different applicants. The best advice I can give you is to cover ALL of your bases. If you don't, you're just risking an RFE unnecessarily. Relying on the USCIS to have all your forms etc. is a really bad idea because they're basically hopeless. Seriously, get ahold of EVERYTHING, and have DUPLICATES. That way you'll be as prepared as you can possibly be. The AOS interview is a piece of cake if you're prepared.

29/11/04 - Michael visits California

16/1/05 - Jennifer visits London

27/4/05 - Get hitched in Vegas

25/7/05 - I-130 sent

1/9/05 - I-129 sent

8/9/05 - NOA1 for I-129.

14/9/05 - Touched (I-129)

19/9/05 - Touched (I-129)

12/10/05 - APPROVED! (I-129)

19/1/06 - Receive Packet 4. Interview set for February 9th. Michael seen performing lewd dance moves in his bedroom by shocked neighbours

9/2/06 - Interview. Michael charms his way through the US Embassy in record time...then has to go back after they forget to take his receipt for the fee. Still...VICTORY

23/2/06 - Michael arives at LAX, babbles nonsense at customs officers. Eyebrows are raised

4/4/06 - NOA1s for EAD and AOD

14/4/06 - Receive notification of biometrics appointment on April 18th

18/4/06 - Biometrics complete

4/6/06 - AOS Interview set for July 24th

10/6/06 - EAD received

20/7/06 - SSN received

24/7/06 - AOS interview. APPROVED pending name check

2/9/06 - Welcome to America, you big stud. Kisses, the USCIS.
