Hello Everyone,

Just caught a small error on the beneficiary's employment history. Stems from a larger question which is now resurfacing which is:

My wife was assigned to work in a field after she finished her university education. However, she was not active in this position, as another person took over her duties. In lieu of this, she requested to be in another field, which was granted.

When filling out the DS-230 we thought this moment of time to be unnecessary for employment history. Today while going over my photocopies, I encountered one of the dates for employment history to be incorrect. So now, the question resurfaced (due to the difficulty I am hearing about the American interest sections in cuba) whether I should put the dates on a new DS-230 Form to be submitted again at the interview. Given the unique system by which my wife acquired her job, I am unsure whether the information is necessary or not.

Well... I am assuming that I can bring a new ds-230 to the interview without resulting an a visa denial... Or am I too optimistic about issue?

Does anyone have an opinion on this?

Best wishes

I don't know how things work in Cuba but my opinion it shouldn't be something that you would get denied for if it was just a date Error but if you wanna make sure, you can tell your wife to Mention the correct date to the officer at the consulate explaining that it was a mistake while typing in the form. but i don't think you should worry about it

Good Luck

Ah allow me to clarify. We did not put her original position in employment history because she said that she didn't work there at all. So I put that information on the g325a and ds 230. It occurred to me that her original position may be documented and upon investigation could come up in the interview (or the additional processing that follows every interview).

Is it a big deal to submit a new ds-230 to the interview?
