Actually, this makes no sense at all. Darnell is (clearly) an intelligent person. The only conclusion here is that he's trolling for responses.

Or his account has been hacked. I don't think its very appropriate for a site organizer to be cheerleading Japan's misfortunes. I doubt very much the Japanese users of this forum would appreciate it.

Wow. I didn't realize that. Yes agreed totally, for the "staff" of an immigration website to verbalize such rhetoric is clearly even more inappropriate.

U.S. officials are alarmed at how the Japanese are handling the escalating nuclear reactor crisis and fear that if they do not get control of the plants within the next 24 to 48 hours they could have a situation that will be "deadly for decades."

It was the US that built that reactor some 40 years ago.

Maybe that is why the Japanese can't reach the off switch.

Why? This is a 'immigrate to USA' web portal - not any 'lets cry for Japan' web portal.

What's the dealio ?

I understand all have different backgrounds, and I'm not worried about Japanese users at all - as their primary intent for using this here web portal is to glean info for immigrating to the USA.

Politics has nasty bedfellows - a forum was created to handle this type of topic - and mostly - you swim here.

Why? This is a 'immigrate to USA' web portal - not any 'lets cry for Japan' web portal.

There is plenty of precedent on this site for moderation taking a dim view of content that could reasonably be expected to offend people from a certain country or certain ethnicity.

I've been talking about an export country, #2 in the world, and it's decimation. For me, that's a good thing! I've not talked about Japanese people, or their suffering, or anything of that ilk - I refuse to, as it's not any 'Politics and Religion' topic, at all.
