Hi everyone, I have a few AOS questions that maybe you can help me answer....Thanks for reading.

1. If I am unemployed and using a family co-sponsor, do I still submit a I-864?

2. If I am unemployed, and fill out the I-864 as unemployed, should I not write "Student" as my occupation on other forms (such as the D-230)?

3. Is it necessary to use the original IRS transcripts, pay stubs, and W-2 for the I-864A or can they be photocopies?

4. Is it necessary to have an original employment letter for the I-864A or can it be a photocopy of said letter?

Thanks for reading and for any helpful answers. Good luck to all and kind regards.

Hi everyone, I have a few AOS questions that maybe you can help me answer....Thanks for reading.

1. If I am unemployed and using a family co-sponsor, do I still submit a I-864?

You will submit form I-864 and the co-sponsor ( the spouse, an adult child, a parent or sibling ) will submit form I-864A only if their residence address is the same as yours or they're listed on your federal tax return, otherwise the co-sponsor will do the I-864

2. If I am unemployed, and fill out the I-864 as unemployed, should I not write "Student" as my occupation on other forms (such as the D-230)?

Write unemployed or a student, whichever you prefer

3. Is it necessary to use the original IRS transcripts, pay stubs, and W-2 for the I-864A or can they be photocopies?

Photocopies will do

4. Is it necessary to have an original employment letter for the I-864A or can it be a photocopy of said letter?

Photocopy

Thanks for reading and for any helpful answers. Good luck to all and kind regards.

Find a job you love to do, and you will never work another day in your life.
