My fiance had her interview yesterday, she told me that he ask her a few question:

1. How we meet?

2. When was fiance birthday?

2. If fiance had been married before?

3. Why did fiance get a divorce?

4. When did fiance get a divorce?

5. Do fiance had any kids?

6. Has she been married before?

7. When and Why did she get a divorce?

8. Do she has any kids?

That was all they ask her, she told me. She told them the truth and answer all the question. We knew that they might ask these question so me and her went over everything before she went to the interview. She say after she answer everything, the interviewer turn and type a few thing on the computer and afterward handed hers picture, passport, family registry, and poof of ongoing realationship back to her. he told her that someone has translated her police record wrong. It stated she was marry. But on the original copy it stated she was not. So he told her to go get it retranslated over and bring it back. Then he walk out the door.

The question is he never told her she pass or failed. Should I be worry because he gave her her passport and everything back to her, meaning she did pass? because i would think that they would keep her passport if she pass and when she return with a new translation of her police record. They would pass her.

Please give me your input, cuz i'm very curious of other people experience was when they recieve there k-1 approve.

Where I am from (Colombia) this means She wasn't denied or approved they just need all the papers to be correct for them to make a decision. If this is about her having her interview to receive her K1 Visa she would have to get the correct translation of the police record and go back to the embassy for another interview. What she needs to find out is that if she needs to schedule another appointment or if she can just come back when the paper is ready and take all the papers they gave her back with her just in case. Maybe there is a Customer service line for the US embassy in her country that she can contact and get more info from ;)

They told her to get it corrected and come back. They translated document there also at the embassy, so she pay someone there to translate it for her. So she going go back in the morning. I hope that it and she get approve. Put i just got this funny feeling that DOS is giving us the run around.
