Hello i just received for my AOS a notice "request for evidence"

it says we did something wrong with the affidavit

"it was not filled by the petitioner/sponsor", "even if a joint sponsor will be used the petitioner must submit form i864

its so confusing. so to make it clear

my fiance has to fill the i864 and then we have to fill another one for the co sponsor(my fiances grandpa)?

what we did is just his grandpa filled it.

thanks

The Petitioner needs to fill in a separate I-864, even though he doesn't meet the poverty guidelines, so the USCIS is correct the petitioner must submit one as well as the co-sponsor.

Just send in whatever they are requesting in a timely manner.

No. Your HUSBAND needs to fill in an I-864 and attach all required supporting documentation (even if he doesn't meet the requirements) and your joint-sponsor (your HUSBANDS grandfather) does the same.

You need to be married to file AOS.
