Going to Kiev in 7 days, any tips?

I get the feeling my girl would strangle my nuts if she caught me putting a pic of her rommate on the net.. I never could get pics of us three together..

lol...do you think any of our wives/gf's/whatever's actually see this forum ? Gary says his does... We can keep this thread a secret. If and when she does come to this forum, don't let her share your account...make her get her own, and by that time this thread will be twenty pages back. Better yet don't show her this forum, and keep her busy in the K1, CR1...whatever visa forums. That way she doesn't have time to snoop down here. She's going to be so busy with the visa stuff she won't have time to see this forum.

Anyways if she ever does see some pics, tell her it's free advertising for the roommate and that she owes ya one.

After being in Kiev for a week and examining the full fruits of what Ukrainians see everyday, I would say her roommate is so so. I swear it's like a battle royale competition over there for girls to grab attention! No one cares about all the "normal" girls with knee high boots walking around. I would not have believed until I seen how normal it is over there. EVERYONE, even older women wear those boots! But it's the super tall girls with rhinestone studded jeans painted skin tight and the knee high boots with platform soles that you see every now and then is what really grabs your attention. We were in Mega Market and one of those girls walked by. When I realized I was staring, I looked over and realized Antonia was staring as well. She looked at me said you like that style??? I said noooooo it's not very good style, she said that girl is probably prostitue...

After being in Kiev for a week and examining the full fruits of what Ukrainians see everyday, I would say her roommate is so so. I swear it's like a battle royale competition over there for girls to grab attention! No one cares about all the "normal" girls with knee high boots walking around. I would not have believed until I seen how normal it is over there. EVERYONE, even older women wear those boots! What did we tell ya ! It will get even better over there starting in the next month or two when summer hits and the super mini's start showing up along with the tube tops. It's like freaking heaven over there. Man if you can, travel there in the summer months. You will literally think you have died and gone to heaven.

We're planning a trip to Crimea in August and I'm trying to slide over to Kiev for a few days in May. Not sure if can swing it yet with vacation time. But my girl has already told me that I better behave in the summer over there .... becuase all the girls dress differently,,, she put it as "attract attention more agressively".....will have to keep the shaded sunglasses close to me..

Yes, Alla checks it out sometimes, mostly when she takes a break from studying and comes to look over my shoulder. Sometimes she will read a few posts and then tell me what to answer. Some of her answers would get me suspended.

Now on with the report. Kiev is a very interesting city. I liked it a lot but it seems a bit expensive and people there either have LOTS of money or not much at all. I swear I seen more luxury cars than in LA. Kiev must have more Porsche Cayenne's per capita than anywhere else in the world. And ANY day in front of my flat I would see Bently's, Ashton Martins, Rolls Royce's...etc.

It's not even funny, I've been noticing lately that some people can live in a studio located in a bad neighbourhood, but drive a Cayenne or a BMW X6. Crazy, IMO. That's in my city in Russia though...
