My fiance told me he got mail from NVC today with our new case number and said that our papers will be forwarded to Manila Embassy and I just have to wait for my packet to arrive.

Oh God is so good!!!!!! Me and my fiance are so happy. :dance:

We are getting closer and closer to be together forever.

Timeline

Jan 22, 2007 Arrived in USA

Jan 27, 2007 Wedding Day

March 31, 2007----- Submitted AOS and EAD package

April 6, 2007 ------ Package received at USCIS

April 11, 2007 ----- NOA1 ( AOS and EAD )

April 25, 2007 ------ Biometrics

April 26, 2007 ------ Touched

May 21, 2007 ------- NOA 2 ( AOS )

June 13, 2007------- Receive email from Cris, EAD Card Production ordered

June 14, 2007 ------ EAD touched

June 18, 2007 ------ EAD touched

June 21, 2007 ------ EAD email from Cris, USCIS has sent notice on the mail that EAD is approved

June 23, 2007 ------ EAD card received in the mail

July 11, 2007 ------- Initial interview ( Denver, CO ) approved- Thank God

July 17, 2007 ------- Received Welcome Notice in the mail

July 18, 2007 ------- Email Notice from Cris " Production of Card Ordered"

July 27, 2007 ------- Green Card received- God is so Good!

Excellent news...Every step brings you closer...

January 2004: Met Laurent at the Bibliothèque nationale in Paris

February 2004: We became an actual couple

January 29th, 2006: I left France to return to the United States--AWFUL to say goodbye!

June 2006: Finally convinced Laurent that a K-1 visa would be more time-effective than trying to get an H-1

August 1st, 2006: The K-1 petition is finally in the mail and on its way to Nebraska...WooHoooo!! And yes, I remembered to attach the check! :-)

August 3rd, 2006: USPS online tracking shows that my petition (sent certified) was received at the NSC at 5:05am

August 14th, 2006: NOA1 received USPS!! (I-129F recv'd at CSC: 8/4; NOA date: 8/10; last touched: 8/11)

October 2nd, 2006: I MISTAKENLY thought we had an approval...False alarm...Back to waiting...

October 3rd, 2006: TOUCHED!!

October 4th, 2006: REALLY AND TRULY APPROVED!!! Email notification lists 10/3 as the NOA2 date.

Later that same day: TOUCHED...AGAIN! Hope that means I'm in a cozy box and moving to NVC this week...

October 10th, 2006: Received official NOA2 via snail mail.

October 19th, 2006: Case received at NVC!! AWESOME!!

October 20th, 2006: Case forwarded to Paris!! DHL says two shipments were headed that way. Must be in there somewhere...

October 27th, 2006: Received official receipt letter from NVC via USPS.

Congrats! This is probably the first time i have read about someone receiving notice from NVC. Oh i am sure it happens all the time but i guess i just see timeline updates stating "NVC sends out package to embassy". Here`s a question about this stage...

Would it be better to inform NVC about the beneficiary`s change of address or the embassy in the country receiving the files from NVC. If NVC is to be informed before they mail out the files to the embassy, is there a form to be used for this or would they update this change of address by calling them?

Would appreciate comments..

On the first go-round, pre-IMBRA, I emailed NVC with the beneficiary's change of address and they emailed back and said to contact the embassy as the file had already been sent off. If yours hasn't yet reached NVC, I would suggest emailing them with the address change at NVCInquiry@state.gov. And yes, NVC does send out a letter saying they have approved the petiion and forwarded it to the appropriate embassy/consulate. Bonne chance! B)

November 14,2006- NVC forwarded case to Manila Embassy

November 22,2006- US Embassy Manila recieved my case, and said wait till 1-6 months for the interview date

Feb 2007-interview approved

March 1'07- Visa delivered

April 3'07-Las Vegas, Nevada

April 15'07- Orlando, Florida

April 20- Wedding

April 23'07- France

June 5'07- Back to Florida and file for AOS
