Copy and paste your tweets here people, let's generate some more together!

09/21/10 - I-129F Sent!

09/23/10 - I-129F Received in Dallas, TX

09/28/10 - Text & E-mail NOA1 (It was at 12:44AM, weird) Notification that our case was transferred to VSC.

09/29/10 - Check cashed

09/30/10 - NOA-1 Hard Copy dated Sep. 27, 2010

10/03/10 - TOUCH!

After numerous calls to USCIS, my two Texas Senators and a Congressman, the latter got an "expedite" put through (if you can call a month and a week after ONPT an expedite). Just never let up! Even though mine took way too long, there were people who were a month before me and waited longer because they just sat back and watched. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease!"

03/31/11 - NOA-2!

04/05/11 - Received NOA-2 hard copy.

04/07/11 - NVC Received

04/12/11 - Case left NVC via DHL

04/14/11 - Consulate Received Hard Copy of Case

I just tweeted, how can you see their "profile" and what others have tweeted on there?

There is a Search field on Twitter located at the very top of the page. You want to type in, "@USCIS" without the quotation marks then hit the looking glass to find all the messages that were sent to USCIS. Here's a picture of the search field:

I totally agree with this idea but I would like us to be more organized. These are my suggestions:

First - as u mentioned, we need a template.

Second - I don't think USCIS care about that, they will try more to cover it up maybe, so, I would personally twit toward @BarackObama or whatever else we decide (we should decide that too so everybody does that)

but if u decided @uscis is fine that too

Third: We should engage Facebook too by asking publicly our friends to support us and by posting on the groups walls ... e.g. VJ FB.

Fourth: So we decide with VSC Backlog or K1 Vermonters ?

Opinion of a 6th Month Vermonter

PS. I won't tweet until we get the template . I want to COUNT !

i was so much expecting a post like this. thanks.

i totally agree. we should involve facebook. we specially need HUB people. hub people are people that have a lot of friends on fb or twitter. immagine jfk airport, this is a hub airport. it have more connections than other small ones. the same way we need to involve people who can send this through to other people.

write to these addresses: @BarackObama @HouseDemocrats @USCIS @whitehouse

i would go for K1Vermonters. 6th month Vermonter is too long for twitter standards. and VCS backlog is too technical to understand.

Please make some hearts happy.Processing times at Vermont USCIS K1 visa is up to 6 months.will u help us? K1Vermonters.

feel free to adjust as you wish but be sure to include "K1Vermonter"

thanks :)

i agree with this but would like to add that #k1Vermonters should be a hashtag... makes it easier to trend and search

so just tag anyone you want @uscis @barackobama @whitehouse and use #k1vermonters as the hashtag

OK I have tweeted a few times, but so new I don't know what these phrases "#k1vermonters as the hashtag" will do. Just wondering.

I am under 40 and don't know!

a hashtag means simply putting a pound (number sign) before a phrase or word so #k1vermonters (its a bookmark so to speak)

it just organizes all the tweets dealing with k1vermonters together so things are easier to search and start trending

so basically write whatever u want just make sure u have enough characters left to include #k1vermonters

A 'hash' is this thing: #

A 'hashtag' is a hash with a keyword such as 'K1Vermonters' added to it. Like this: #K1Vermonters

The hashtag is used on Twitter as a keyword to group similar tweets together. So if someone were to say, search 'K1Vermonters' on Twitter, they should get all of the tweets that include that hashtag. You can put the hashtag anywhere in the tweet so long as it starts with # followed by a keyword. Here's some examples of how we'd use it, these aren't suggestions for templates but if you want to use them as such you are welcome to it:

@USCIS I-129F petitions are 6 months or more behind! Approve our petitions, VSC! #K1Vermonters

@USCIS My I-129F petition is over 5 months. #K1Vermonters want their NOA2s and approvals!

@USCIS #K1Vermonters want to know why their I-129Fs are not being approved? Please hurry it up, VSC!

A hashtag will turn any word into a click-able link. Once you click said link, it will show you any other tweets with that same link in it.

i.e.: cat - a word

#cat - a word that is now a click-able link

#cat - clicking on this on twitter will find anyone who used the same hash-tag
