@USCIS Processing times are beginning to exceed 6 months for I-129Fs. Please correct this backlog

Not only that, but as a teacher, great way to intrusivelly reminds students of tests. ;) Thanks

Also, is there no way we could get the media in on this? I'm thinking that stuff like VSC approving petitions in 1 month to keep their average processing times under 5 months should be huge news.... could we tweet stuff to the ny times or anything else that gets huge followings?

Twitter is a global medium of communication.

Why stop at simply NYtimes?

I do think with the awful natural disasters in Japan & loss of human life recently, it will be very difficult to raise our #visapetition plight as a major topic of congress deliberation.

However, I commend every single person here, who has contributed to the AMAZING achievement of raising #K1Vermonters to one of the top trending topics of the world's most powerful & influential leader.

Well here are my few thoughts on that. As someone who works with a Union (yes, I'm one of those), it needs to be constant. Several people here have already make a great effort. The thing is it needs to be kept up. If you can recruit, for example have everyone make it a facebook status for a day, tell friends, I've already gotten two people to sign up on twitter and keep our hash for a few days in prominence then you can have something. The next thing is to make that in a political petition or letter writing. If one wants to call the media after a week, both larger and smaller local newspapers work. Most will not take it, but perhaps one will, and it often works well as a personal story. Also, it is a good idea to then forward that to the local federal congressional representatives as well as USCIS. The thing is there must be pressure, consistent pressure and it must adapt. Furthermore, once people start gaining NOA2s, the most important thing to any Union . . . .or group must occur. Solidarity. IT is important that those who do well, continue to fight and help those who are still waiting.

Also, FYI, I don't want this to be a political derail, if you want that you can PM me. Rather, techniques I've seen work that can easily be applied here.

And please ignore the awful grammer errors, however, my better half is waiting . . . ..

We may or may not make a diference in our journey. We may not improve our plight. We may not get NOA2 faster. We may not achieve a goal.

We took action. We took a chance. We made our voice heard.

That's what made this country what it is. Thats the power of the people.

I'm proud to be a part of this little movement.

I am CRM1068

You are action, we are the people.
