I think I mentioned before how my aunt sponsored my uncle and his family. Priority date is June 8th, 2002 and case is sent to NVC and is at the near end stages (Affidavit of Support was just sent). My uncle and his wife had another child in 2003, after the case was sent to NVC. They were told that the child's information would be needed later on. As this is nearly the end, they are wondering when will it be neccasary to add the child's name as well?

contact the NVC and update the case file with the information. The will request the birth certificate.

Thank you. Will do. Do you know how many more steps are left after the affidavit of support is sent?

good.gif after the affidavit of support then comes the ds-230 / application for immigrant visa, then medical/interview notice, then case is sent to embassy. see below
