Hi there , i have NOA1 dated 1 day before yours and i havent heard anything too , bit there is nothing to worry about as whole procedure takes sometime. Uscis has finally started to approve NOV filers , early nov filer to be particular so we will have to wait until we get our approvals. You have your NOA1 hardcopy and thats enough for now .Stay positive .

Hi Sarah,

Did you hear anything yet from USCIS? If so, please let me know.

I am really getting tensed now.

Thanks

Kevin

O I wish I would get something like this soon. All I got so far is NOA1 and a recent update to my case on March 17, 2011.

Good Luck to you!

Typically a "touch" or update means that there is some kind of activity going on with your case. however, my case got touched like nearly 10-11 times before approval. so while its a sign something is going on, it doesnt necessarily mean you'll get approved right then and there. although for a lot of people who filed the same time I did (in 2009 and last year), I know that they got touched and a day or 2 later, they got approval...

I'd say that you're close to the 5 month mark. make an infopass appt and see if you can talk f2f w/ your local uscis office. they migth be able to peer into your case and see if there's anything wrong or what the status is and also put in a service request for you. other than that, unfortunately, not much else you can do other than waiting. i know how this feels, so believe me when I say I feel your pain!

try not to focus on it too much, think positively and it WILL come! best of luck

Hello All,

I received my NOA2 (I-130 Approved Notice) from USCIS and they have approved my I-130 petition, that I have filed for my wife.

Can someone please advise on what will be the next steps ?

The notice says that USCIS will forward my case to NVC. How do I follow up?

What all documents I have to get ready for the next steps?

Kindly, please advise. Any help or pointers are appreciated.

Thanks,

Kevin

Congrats on your NOA2. First step is keep calling NVC and try to get the NVC case no. Regarding the documents, If you have all your civil documents ready then no worries, if not, this is the time to get them. Please go through this guide
