All VJer,

I am so happy today. Just checked my case status on USCIS portal and my status is moved from 'Initial Review' to 'Post Decision Activity'. I am so excited and waiting to receive my NOA2. Here is the online message on USCIS portal.

Post Decision Activity

On March 15, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

So I wish good luck to all November filers. Its time for us to cheer up... I hope to see more approvals coming soon.

10/31/1010: I-130 packet Received
10/31/2010: Priority Date
11/02/2010: NOA1 hard copy received by mail
03/15/2011: I-130 Approved

09/10 - Wedding

09/31/10:came back to states.

10/25/10: I-130 package mailed.

11/10/10: NOA1 recieved(I130)

11/16/10: Touched.

11/18/10: I129F package mailed.

12/02/10: NOA1 recieved(I129F)

12/31/10:Touched.

Congratulations to you and happy for you.

I have filed I-130 for my spouse on 15th Nov 2010 and the USCIS received the application on 17th November 2010. The Priority date on the Receipt is 15th November 2010.

I received the first Notice of Receipt with my Case Number on 19th November, but till then it is almost 4 months now and I still haven't heard anything back from USCIS. When I check my case status online, it shows "Initial Review".

Can someone please guide or advise as to what do I need to do since I still have not heard anything back from USCIS yet about my case.

Hi there , i have NOA1 dated 1 day before yours and i havent heard anything too , bit there is nothing to worry about as whole procedure takes sometime. Uscis has finally started to approve NOV filers , early nov filer to be particular so we will have to wait until we get our approvals. You have your NOA1 hardcopy and thats enough for now .Stay positive .

you're being advised to wait nothing you do this early in the process will create a faster approval because they are within the processing time frame.

there is a delay on the 1-130 visas do to overload,in texas service center, if your case is long over do you can you can contact the uscis at 1-130inquiries,tsc@dhs.gov
