hey everyone. when i called the nvc they said me visas are available and right now my case is processing under the supervisor. so my priority date became current on last september(2010) and it was sent to nvc last octomber(2010). so whats the big deal with this change in visa bulleting. i heard from many saying once the visa bulleting changes the processing cases are halted, and they start processing again once they become current again. so what is the real situation? :dance:

thanks for the information. does the waiting time changes according to the country i mean the consular office??

Shri Lanka has never showed up as a oversubscribed country. The wait times is based on the visa bulletin that you are subjected to.. so you have to wait until your case becomes current. The only time you will wait for a consular office is for an interview to be scheduled and still the "actual" wait is at the NVC level.

Please see the monthly visa bulletin below. The next bulletin will be for MAY. So they will release the May Bulletin sometime in April between 9-11th
