When is your priority date? Did you get a potential IV waiver notice? Did you have your interview?

Yes. Filers from New York range from 7 months to 9 months to get their interview date! You are almost there :)))

Are EAD/AP combo cards processed by the local office in NYC or by the National Benefits Center? I'm asking because it seems to be taking longer than usual for us to receive the combo card approval (80 days), and I wonder if it's because NYC is backlogged. I'm aware we aren't yet outside of the processing window, but other early October filers from different states have begun to receive their EAD/AP approvals over the past two weeks.

EAD/AP are processed by the National benefits Center. I think that since you are 80 days in you should do a case inquiry to see why it's taking so long to be approved. I am a early Sept filer I got a Rfe and my Rfe was received on November 2. My EAD was approved one month after my Rfe was received on Dec 1. I did however sent a case inquiry once my EAD was over 75 days.

I agree. Call and do a case inquiry. It usually takes 90 days from the priority day to receive ead card. Tell them it is important to receive it because you have a job offer or something and ask if things can be expedited!. This has worked for a lot of people and got their card production email in few days from inquiring.

Congratulations everyone and good luck!

I am an April filer (NPIW in June or July)....and still have not heard back :o

If I were you I would request for an info pass, and see whats happening its a bit long for you to still be waiting since June, The reality of the situation is its our lives hat get put on hold, not blaming the uscis officers but if they forget or something is not uphdated by someone slacking I dont think they have a system in place that lets them know such is pending. So take your own life into your own hands get an info pass and maybe that will give them a knee jerk to get them moving, Also the reason I say this with all this new news about trying to make changes to the immigration under the fiance visa we have no idea how far that will go also there is no telling what effect all this will have when we want to remove conditions especially if there is a change in power. My advice is get everything done ASAP, if they are delaying get on them and find out what is delaying the process...

12/24/2014.................forms i130, i485, i765, i131 mailed via usps12/26/2014.................forms delivered01/05/2015.................NOA1 for all forms wth 26th dec as priority date01/24/2015.................bio apt received for 02/0601/26/2015................. walk in bio failed, supervisor said that the office is way to busy to come back closer to my apt date02/06/2015................. completed biometrics02/11/2015.................Aos status update 'case is ready to be scheduled for an interview'<p>02/24/2015................EAD updated to 'card in production' AP updated to case approved

NY Office Location: I had my interview today. It went pretty smooth. The interviewer was sweet and nice. It didn't seem like an interview - it was more like a conversation back and forth (asking about how we met, parents, where we work) She didn't need any extra copies for the proof that we took - only kept some pictures, copy of our lease (since both us were in different cities when we applied, but now together) Overall took about 30-40 mins. She said we'll get to know the decision soon after doing some other security checks. And she called the next person for an interview after walking us out. Keeping fingers crossed.

Priority: 12th May 2014 (applied for Seattle Field Office initially)

Regarding my previous comment: How long it usually takes for them to get back?

I heard the "security checks" answer for a lot of the couples... Oh we still need to do security check, yeah right!

Were you handed any paper?

If you interview went smoothly (mine was just like yours, few questions and two documents taken), then you should be fine but you never know when you will hear back. Wait until 30 days and if nothing happens, schedule an infopass. But I think you should be fine!
