So today is the magical day #60 post interview. Called national hotline and they were completely useless just merely citing what's already listed online. Just fired off all a long email to my lawyer asking "#######?"" Its now been a full 60 days post interview and nearly 8 months in total. This is a classic example of us being held hostage by one inept and dumb officer who is disorganized and inefficient. Amazing how many lives one person can ruin for so many.


Not sure who my lawyer can talk to break this stalemate. I have already done everything I can in my power including (i) calling national hotline (ii) having my lawyer sent a letter (iii) go on InfoPass (iv) sent in for Congressional help and (v) set up another InfoPass appointment. I am seriously nearing the end of the road and about to just give up.

8/23/13 (Day 236) Card production email received, a full 9 weeks after the interview . Also got call from Senator's office confirming approval.

8/26/13 (Day 239) InfoPass appointment to get passport stamp as we have travel plans for late August.

9/3/13 (Day 247) Received Green Card. Also got call from Congresswoman's office confirming delivery of the Green Card.

6/3/15 (Day 0) Send in I751 Form

6/8/15 (Day 5) Notice of USICS Receipt

7/16/15 (Day 43) Biometrics Appointment

<----- not true I also filed mid August and just had interview done today (nov 26th) and status updated to card production. Just be patient, it could all be about luck according to who have had

So the wife just got off the phone with the National Hotline. Of course as expected they said that our case is still being processed and accused us of fabricating an approval. They said if we were approved, we would be given a notice. We brought up the 60 days post interview and they just blankly said to check back in another month if we don't hear anything so they can see what's up. I give up. I hate these annoying and irritating clowns.

Now is the time for you to send that congressional help form in. Calling the national hotline is completely USELESS. That will push them to act on your case

I can't believe I am still here waiting for the darn email / text notification. I have done everything I can; about to just give up and not care about this anymore; it just feels like its never going to happen and my wife will just be in this purgatory forever.

So my wife did a "walk-in" appointment as she was getting extremely antsy about the situation. The officer on duty berated her for not having an InfoPass appointment but ended up helping her anyway. The officer confirmed that our original officer has not done anything since we went in two weeks ago and now that she will re-assign our case to someone else to look at. She also said that next Monday (actual date of our appointment) we should come with a plane ticket for a few days after that to force their hand and approve us there and then. Such an odd recommendation

NYC aos filier here. I'm hoping to revive this thread, if it's ok. I also posted in the November fliers thread. So we filed all the aos ppw on Nov. 15, packet delivered Nov. 16 and picked up by R. Morena on Nov. 17 sometime after 10 pm (a sunday, weird right). I hope my process is shorter and not as dramatic as Striker's. ClockWatch2.gif

11/15/13 - mailed i130 & i485 to Chicago lockbox

(Day 6) - 11/22/13 Email & text message receipt notification received at 12:04 am & check for I130 cleared

(Day 16) - 12/2/13 Biometric appointment letter received, letter was mailed to us on 11/27/13. Appointment scheduled for 12/19/13.

(Day 33) - 12/19/13 Biometrics appointment completed
