So the end of another week and still no formal written approval. So sick and tired of this. Given that its the weekend, by Monday it will be day #53 post interview and day #225 in total.

Oh my goodness, so 5 days after InfoPass where they tell me that we are approved and will get the card soon, still no update. So frustrating. Also booked flights for a well deserved vacation in mid September based on their word that we are good to go but I am getting nervous and antsy again now. Scheduled another August 26 InfoPass appointment to followup and perhaps get the passport stamp then.

Hi all,

I got my EAD Combo card in early may. I'm in new york city.

When can I expect to hear anything about AOS?

My case status on the I485 been at "Acceptance" since february.

"Your case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location."

Grateful for any information.

You are filing as K1 so the likelihood that you will get an interview will be 50 / 50. Currently, the wait time to get an interview date in NYC is like 4-5 months. If you go without an interview, the K1 processing time is 7 - 10 months. Might be worthwhile to setup InfoPass at Fed Plaza NYC to inquire whether you will have interview or not.

it is very frustrating waiting this long after interview for an approval, i don't understand why on earth they would need weeks and months to order a green card. am also getting frustrated and you are not alone

I hear you totally. I am beyond frustrated now. Today marks day #55 post interview and #227 overall.

The verbal approval was nice to hear but its having the physical card in hand that really counts. We can't fly back to the US and tell the CBP guys that we got verbal approval.

I think my situation is unique as I ended up with an officer who is a rookie and who also seemed a bit disorganized as she forgot to ask us all the I485 questions and had to call us back after we left the building. I would not be surprised if our file is sitting in her box of todo's once again forgotten and catching dust once again. I am going back for another Infopass in 2 weeks to at least plead with these people to give me a passport stamp at least so we can go on a proper honeymoon. Seriously hope this saga is resolved by then.

Well 4-5 months has passed so I guess I won't get an interview? I will try to call USCIS first and then go for the infopass.

So a full week after the Infopass appointment where they verbally said we we were approved and to wait for official notice within 30 days, no updates of any sorts. Getting so fed up with this process. Its been nearly 8 months since the application was filed, and nearly 2 full months since the interview date. Sometimes I wonder what I did wrong to deserve this bad luck when a vast majority of people get approvals within a 3-5 months window.

Remember only 7 weeks ago I was here singing the same sad song as you are singing too? I say get ready to contact your congressman by nextweek. That is what will push them to action, they will keep dragging their feet if you don't do that

I am going to call the national hotline later just to see what's up. Don't expect much other than for them to either tell me processing time is still current or that they will put in a service request. Monday next week will be day#60. I have the congressional form filled out and I will send out. And I have InfoPass appointment again for August 26.

So sick and tired of this nonsense. Can't believe we are being held hostage by one human being. Its not even the USCIS as an organization. Its one freaking lady who is disorganized and inept.

I just talked to uscis.

The agent told me I would not have an interview and I have another 3-4 month to wait for processing.

I guess thats a congrats to you as you wont be held up like many of us who have gone on interviews at NYC. The way I see it, even if you go on interview say a month from now, they may drag your file for a full 2 months or more like they have done so with our case so its probably better you can just skip the interview. Keep us updated.
