02/11/2012 (Day ***) Service request..Told its being reviewed by supervisor

24th March 2012!!!!!!!!!!! Email notifiying me of CARD IN PRODUCTION
03/26/2012 (Day 376) Emails confirming that my I-130 and I-485 have been approved.

4/2/2012 Green Card In Hand!

Unbelievable that my journey took this long but Im thankful

Next Stop Premed...Yup!

3/24/2014 Application for conditions to be removed

9/22/2014 APPROVED without interview.

<----- not true I also filed mid August and just had interview done today (nov 26th) and status updated to card production. Just be patient, it could all be about luck according to who have had

Hi Everybody,

so is there some person here who had their interview at the New York Office, federal Plaza in Manahattan?

Just wanted to know what kind of interview shall we expect? Are they cool or picky etc....

My timeline:

10/2009 - E2 Visa delivered by the US Embassy in Paris.

12/2009 - Relocation in Big Apple :)

06/2010 - Mariage in France.

11/2010 - Assembly of package (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131).

11/22/10 - package sent to Chicago (FedEx/Overnight.

11/23/10 - Package delivered to USCIS at 10:18 am.

12/08/10 - Received Rejection Notice of the package for incorrect fees.

12/09/10 - Corrected package sent again to Chicago (Fedex Overnight).

12/10/10 - Package delivered to USCIS at 10:08 am.

12/14/10 - Received emails/texts notifications of acceptance from USCIS.

12/20/10 - NOA1 received for I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131(hard copies).

01/03/11 - Appointment Notice received - Biometrics appointment set for the 01/25.

01/25/11 - Biometrics done.

02/16/11 - Received Email: EAD in production, Post decision/Approval for AP.

02/26/11 - Received EAD/AP Card

03/28/11 - Interview notification received by email. Interview set for the 05/03.

Hello, I think you might be one of the few who received interview letters from NYC. Majority of us still did not receive anything yet. I know I haven't received anything yet. Almost 3 months since biometrics. Don't really know what is going on. USCIS keeps on telling me my file is where its suppose to be. Very annoying!

7/20/09 - When we met
9/16/09 - When we started dating
1/15/10 - Moved in together
9/3/10 - Marriage
11/10/10 - Filed AOS at Chicago lockbox
11/12/10 - AOS package received
11/17/10 - NOA1
12/27/10 - Biometrics --> canceled due to snow condition
1/18/11 - Advance Parole approved
1/26/11 - Biometrics Completed
1/31/11 - EAD in production
2/7/11 - EAD Recieved
2/18/11 - Applied for SSN
2/28/11 - Received SS Card
8/5/11 - Interview letter mailed
9/8/11 - Interview @9am
9/9/11 - Card Production
9/20/11 - Received Green Card

7/2013 - Submitted Removal of Condition

9/2013 - Biometrics Completed

Not me personally but my friend had his. He said they basically were making fun of them, he said that the IO. Didn't ask anything just asked if he met his wife's parents, where they met, her birth date and that was bout it. He said they were in and out in 10 mins.

I am so glad to have finally found a thread specific to NYC applicants. I have a similar timeline with simbiass(let us know the progress on your case), and I am also waiting for the AOS interview.

My timeline is

Day 1: Nov 10 2010:Notice of Reciept(I-130 and I485)

Day 20: Nov 20: RFE Sent

Day 35: Dec 15: Biometric Appt Sent

Day 55: Jan 5: RFE Received

Day 56: Jan 6: Biometric Appt Done

Day 81: Jan 31: EAD Received

Day 161: April 21 : Still waiting.

I did call the NCS number and I was told I could file a SR after May 6.

11/01/2010: Filing Date

11/07/2010: Recieved Date

11/10/2010: Check Cashed/Notification date

11/30/2010: Biometric letter recieved

1/5/2011: Biometric date

11/30/2011: RFE issued( I-864 documents)

1/5/2011: RFE reply recieved by USCIS

3/11/11 130,485,765 sent in

3/20/11 Received Receipt

3/23/11 765 Bio scheduled for 04/20/11

3/24/11 485 BIO scheduled for 4/21/11

3/26/11 RFE to have Birth Certificate Translated

4/20/11 BIO done for both at 201 Varick

4/21/11 RFE acknowledged

5/14/11 NOtice of EAD production

6/23/11 Received interview notice for 7/28/2011 at Federal Plaza

7/28/11 Interview approved. Dude stamped my applications on file.

7/29/11 online update CARD PRODUCTION.

8/03/11 online update CARD PRODUCTION (2nd Time)

8/04/11 online update. APPROVAL LETTER MAILED.

8/05/11 Received Approval Letter in the mail.

8/06/11 Received GC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
