Well, we just got notice for a stokes interview next month.

Sorry to hear about your stokes interview. I suggest for you not too fret much, rather focus on getting it right this time. Get more documents and practice the hell out of every question patterning to your marriage you can think off.

I guess we aren't getting a second interview because we still haven't heard anything from them yet and it's gonna be 6 weeks on Tuesday.

No mine was a middles aged man and seeing that one of the guys in the thread got approved today, frustrates me even further.

I hope so, but the problem is pending background checks seems to have on time limit and that scares the hell out of me.

Google the congressman for your zip code and on their website there should be something like "serving you" and it should tell you how to go about it.

Hi Striker, now that is very interesting. I wondered about that myself. We were in the waiting room and were called through the doorway to the right of the window hatch check-in in the waiting room. The woman who interviewed us was an oriental/Asian woman, very well groomed with long dark hair, I would say she was in her late 50's but looked younger. I also noticed she had blue nail polish on her long fingernails! She led us to a cubicle on the right hand side of the short corridor. She was very nice and friendly to us and we felt at ease with her (given the situation!). However, while the interview seemed to go very well, I commented to my Husband afterwards that she seemed a tiny bit disorganized with regard to paperwork. At the end she handed us back passports etc but she kept paperwork and all of the paper copies I made of our wedding photos (about 400 of them!!). She remarked that she loved looking at wedding photos and would look at then later when she had time! Then at the end I was shocked when she said casually, "Ok, well we'll do just do some more background checks". She then asked if we had any questions so I asked "when can we expect to receive news?" and she was very vague, "mmmm...I don't really know.....ok well, just keep an eye out in the mail over the next few weeks....sometimes cards get lost." That was 6 weeks ago and not a word. I wonder if this is the same lady that others, similar to us, experienced?

Wow I just read the post on track it and I must say that, the lady is ridiculous. So far she has held up you and the other guy on trackit's application. In fact she might have several applications backed up you never know. I still can't believe she actually said "sometimes the card get lost", what a shame
